Our Story
Originally, in the 18th century, Tenuta Villa La Chiusa Schnautzer belonged to a group of friars who made it a center of spiritual retreat, thanks also to the presence of the delightful chapel which, although now destined for another use, maintains the architectural features unchanged.

Tenuta Schnautzer is located a few kilometers west of the walled city of Lucca and only 15 km from Pisa and its international airport. It is an ideal base from which to visit the sights and treasures of cities such as Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Volterra, as well as explore the nearby coastal towns and the rich Garfagnana valley.
